Taylor LB7

The simple thing to do is ask.Seller does say it is from 1/07 so he is not hiding the fact that it is from after Schrade closed.Be careful posting open auction auctions on here. The mods don't like it.Arnold

Yes unfortunately but that one in the link above nearly fooled me as the handle insert looks like some type of cedar wood, I thought it was a very rare USA made Schrade, only reason I didnt purchase it was that the timber insert was not uniform in grain color.

I really dont mind if sellers choose not to say its made in China so long as alternatively they say it is a Taylor Brand knife then it is up to the purchaser to find out what a Taylor brand knife is from seller of other? (assuming many dont really care either way).

Of course collectors really need to keep themselves fully informed as I nearly got caught with that one.
Regards Tim

i saw that one too, but 1/07 says it all. another is Schrade Waldens with correct appearing tang stamps and tubes & boxes, but in very small print on inside of box is shown Taylor. i use a large magnifying glass, which helps if pic. of good resolution. roland
