I just bought one from WILLIAM.M, but it hasn't gotten here yet.

It was a total impulse buy, and I don't know much about the knife itself.

I searched bladeforums and the swamp, but I only found some pictures, but no pics-included reviews.

Anyone have one who cares to review it? Or, knows of a review online?

I've been wanting one of those too, I really love the blade shape and size. I found a RMD at a price I could afford first, not sure how much I like it yet.

I've got a Taz Rat and 2 Chopweilers. The Taz and Chopweiler are basically the same knife. The Taz has been cut down to make it lighter and more nimble. If you put a Taz on top of a Chopweiler and put rods through the holes in the handle, you'll see that they line up perfectly.

I haven't had a chance to take out my Taz for any field work, but it's easy to carry, hold, and swing. I don't believe it's as good of a chopper as the Chopweiler due to the lower weight, but it's probably a better knife in terms of all around usefulness. The Chopweiler become cumbersome in tasks other than cutting down a forest.

Between the 2 knives I would have to say I like the Chopweiler better. That's due to my personal preference for heavy knives. The Taz is an awesome knife though.
