Tazmanian Blackwood Burl Camp knife

Here is another of the 5160 hand forged, hollow ground camp knives. This one has a Tazmanian Blackwood Burl Handle.

If I may ask, why would you prefer stainless?

Also, what do you think of the photo's?
 
I think the photos are great.

As far as stainless is concerned it is a personal preference. I find brass to scratch too easily and I don't like the way it oxidizes. I like nickel silver a little better, but it is pretty soft as well and it doesn't have a nice looking patina either.
 
Thanks Keith. I am the guy who took the pic's for Doc Molenaar.
I hope to do better on the next set. Doc has several hundred knives that he has made and also some custom collector pieces that will be coming up soon.
 
As I stated, I think the images are great, but it never hurts to try to get better.

I have seen the Doctors work before, and I really like his fighter. It is a very well designed knife. It also looks to be incredibly well made.
