Just curious, what would you call the blade shape on the Tankbuster? The blade has a lot of unique lines and curves in it. I guess ultimately, it will be either a clip point or drop point?

I think of the TB as a "bayb" FFBM. The curves on the spine and the tip, all look like the FFBM.

I dont know what you call it, but I love the sweep of the blade and its fantastic to choke up on...

Modified spine drop point?

Sounds good to me, I'm still thinking about buying one, I kick myself repeatedly for not grabbing one when they were available for custom order.

My feeling is that the Tank Buster combines the best features of several knives into one. It has the handle of the BATAC/SJTAC/JH, with the option to have a rounded butt instead of the Skull Crusher (I prefer the rounded butt, and appreciate that Jerry made this as an option). The blade length is like the SJTAC, but with a wider blade profile like the SFNO. I love it. And, while I generally prefer Satin blades, the Bama Clay + Tan Canvas Micarta combination rocks. I have one. Heck, I think I have a half-dozen TBs. Great knife.

The blade profile is the same as its little brother the Buffalo Soldier.

Your right its pretty close is'nt it. I've not handled one yet but have heard only good things about them. I'd like to pick up a Tb and see for myself i guess.

swage back 3/4 saber ground clip point
w/ a tall blade, a wide deep belly and a robust tip for further clarification.
