These aren't my pics, they were posted by KnotSlip over on the Scrap Yard forums....
I got some new blades in the mail today also....2 S5LEs, 1 BDLE, 1 Desert sand SJTAC and 1 Tank Buster...Also the Tan DM which didn't make it in the photos. A good mail day for me.
Also got a Desert tan DM but I left it downstairs and it missed the photo op.

I got to see that Desert Sand SJTAC in person before I sent it to KnotSlip... very cool blade. Not as cool as my Sandstorm SJTAC though

it feels like a sjtacle in the hand. at least, in this configuration. It doesn't have the chopping power of the nmsfno, and the batacse feels way bulkier in the hand (it's thicker, with thicker handle scales) but the tb feels like a better chopper (more momentum at the tip).
It fills that weird catagory of the bb7, sjtac, and sfno - the complete in between knife. I edc'd a sjtac for a few years and now that I've switched to the much more compact sar5 custom I don't see myself ever going back. It would make for a fantastic "only one knife" camp knife, but it's just to big for city carry.
though it may sound like I don't like it, I do. If I could get the back palm swell shaved down a little so it didn't bite into the hand I'd have 0 complaints, and in a knife thats rare. It just fills such a weird space in the spectrum that I doubt I'll ever get to use it extensively...
