Would like a small fixed blade to wear horizontal on the belt. The Hinderance and Felony Stop are very similar. For a few dollars more, you get micarta and secondary edge. The micarta is great, the secondary edge is sweet but may cause legality issues. ETA I don't know how I feel about the words "felony" on a knife I would carry for weapons retention.

I like the angled grip of these two knives, anything I need to take into consideration?

I have read that some do not like the Hinderance sheath at all. To me, the sheath is a very important part of a fixed blade, and unless you are planning to have a custom one built either way, then it should be taken into consideration when buying the knife.

I would not worry about the word "felony" being in the title of the knife. As long as you are not the one committing the felony there should be no worries.
Best of luck.

Good to know about the sheath. There is micarta available for the hinderance, but it's $40. The TOPS really seems like a better value.
