These two were pretty much identical natural bone a couple hours ago. One when out for some tea and came back like this.

Like the darker, add a few more minutes for soaking to make a little darker.
 
If you like it then that's what matters. My opinion though is that it's silly to take bone and make it look like wood.
 
Not my cup of tea, both look good, but I slightly prefer the before.
