Lookin' good, Kim. The oosik knife really looks great. I like the first one too, but I love the second one. It looks like a knife I would love to carry deerhunting.
Good looking knives Kim. The oosik one is great.
The quilted one breaks one of my basic design rules.(strictly my opinion)
I like the handle to be as wide as the ricasso. there should be the illusion that the tang is nearly as wide as the ricasso, so the transition should be subtle.
Still, they are beauties.
Adam.
What do you guys expect at 4am. wait untill I get some sleep. Just playing around with new digital camera and trying to post. I will show the non junkers at a later date. Thanks fo the comments
Dang Kim, when I can't sleep I just put in Pink Flamingos and get a thorough dose of weird; does the trick every time. It's hard for me to imagine how incredibly productive you are, and it just makes me happy to think there are makers out there who can come up with stuff so fine in such apparently little time. To keep the world balanced and spinning smoothly, I am certainly the least productive maker anywhere...maybe I should give up cult movies and spend more time in the shop (or addressing the honey-do list). Thanks for providing a good example.
I too favor the oosic handled knife but they're both classic beauties. Thanks for sharing!
nice job Kim, at 4 am I only dream about knives. I was wondering when is 4 am. anyway, and unless your R. Duncan or the milk man why aren't you in bed.
