Team gemini LB ordered! Any idea on lead times to UK?

Hi guys,

About a week ago I finally took the plunge and ordered a TGLB in tanker grey and black micarta (seems to be a popular choice).

Do you guys have any idea how long it would take for the knife to reach me here in merry old England? It's only been a week and the wait is already killing me! Seeing Daryl nearly draw his on that dude with the bow in TWD the other night almost made me start crying... :sorrow:

If anyone can let me know an approximate time scale then it would ease my pain considerably!

I ordered mine two days ago... Same colors and material; let's see if there is any info out there! By the way--love your screen name. I'll just call ya Snake...

Thanks man...and for the record Snake Plissken would totally have a Busse...probably a battle mistress to go with his two desert eagles...
 
:thumbup: Agreed! I watched Escape from New York countless times as a kid--Snake is burned into my subconscious. Now, let's se if any of the good folks here have any info for us to ease our pain as we wait. For now, I'll just carry on with my BK7...

TWO Weeks
 
Best I understand it, "two weeks" is to be understood ironically... it's never two weeks, especially at this stage. Once Busse charges one's credit card in full, then "two weeks" becomes more of a reality.
 
Ordered mine about 4 weeks ago, and got the payment email a few days ago. Seems like they are flying out the door pretty quickly these days.

Sorry for my response. The 2 week thing goes way back as I have learned. Whenever someone wants to know how long for something the standard answer is two weeks because no one knows! Not sure how it all started, but it's out there.

If you look at the order page the availability shows 4-14 weeks. So your knife will ship in 2 weeks :)

Your TGLB will ship within 10 days of you paying for it.... :D You will get an e-mail when the payment is due.... shipping time from the "Factory of Dreams" in Ohio to Australia is around 7 working days, I would allow the same to Old Blighty... you can track it the whole way.....Lord knows I do.... :D

Wow, thanks for the pics guys... though I'm not sure if that makes the waiting easier or harder! I did some pruning, chopping, and other miscellaneous tasks with my BK7 around the house today to take my mind of the wait... clearly, this method had little effect.
