Hey Guys, I just got these 2 beauties in the mail today and have a few questions.

The Team Gemini has a satin INFI, how do you guys maintain it or clean it.?
(besides soap and water) I want to protect the finish.

The AZWelke sheath is great (thanks to Chrisknife) it came with a ferro rod holder,
which ones would fit or which ones do your guys recommend?

Last question...Is it normal to feel super human when holding this Awesome piece of INFI steel in ones hand? :D

Nice catch!!! I'm sure holding that makes you WISH a zombie outbreak would happen..
I bet Azwelke has an email on the website, or you could PM him here about what ferro rod would fit the sheath

Wipe the blade clean/dry and that is really about it. If long term storage or really humid/salt environments are involve I have a shaving brush soaked with a mineral oil that I wipe them down with.

Awesome knife! Beat the crap out of it and put it away wet and dirty. It'll be fine.

Yes, yes it is!
If you don't, INFI isn't for you and you should send it to me for proper disposal!!!! :D

Congrats on an awesome score!!!!!

I'm a big fan of Renaissance Wax in general for anything prone to rust. That said Busse's really aren't.

It'd be a shame to have those beautiful blades and never use them. I'd treat one with Ren Wax as needed and leave the other untreated, just rinse it off and wipe it down. Use them the same and see the differences over time.

Just don't store them in the sheaths.

It's totally normal.

Also, the satin finish is quite durable. I baton wood with my TG and it doesn't harm the finish, only the sap stains it, but is easily removed with some rubber erasers.

If you do scratch it, I find that busse satin is about 500 to 800 grit sand paper.

Thanks guys :)

Nice sunny day today so I took some outside pics.
(we need a break from this Northeast winter)

Very nice! I like firesteel.com. They have all different sizes of firesteels. I'd recommend getting one with a lanyard hole in it then putting a key ring through it. Gives you something to grab hold of to pull it out.

Awesome, blade. Congratulations! I use hot soap and water or an old tooth brush and tooth paste. Camping and hunting I carry a section of green scotchbrite pad and a vial of biodegradable soap to clean them with. I generally use frog lube on my blades to prevent any rust but infi does good on its own
