Man O' Live. . . . Team Gemini has a case of the sniffles which is keeping them from sleeping, so Jennifer and I are taking turns watching the twins throughout the night. . . . And I've got to be honest, I'm not so sure that I'm cut out for this kind of thing!!!

The two of them seem to have worked out a unique "tag team" system where as soon as the one stops crying, the other begins!!!!

So far, threats of "Get back in the grinding room!" or "I'll dock your pay for a month if you do that to me again when I change your diaper!" have kind of fallen on deaf ears!!!

The good news is, that eight gallons of saline nose drops, and six pounds of nasal sludge later, it looks as though they have finally fallen asleep at the same time!!!. . . There has now been an entire 8 minutes of silence!!!!. . .:thumbup:. . . Huh?. . . Well, that's over!!! :grumpy: . . . It's almost like they can read!!!!

Used to be that I would be up all night drinkin' ! ! ! !. . . . Now, I'm up all night with the twins and they're drinkin'!!!. . . I've got to be honest. . . these two little ones are just amazing!!! Even when they're blowin' chunks, they still just break your heart!!!!. . . Plus, watching some of the faces that these 2 month old babies make when they're trying to focus, reminds me of some of the drunk HOGs that I see every year at the BLADE Show fountain at 4:00 AM ! ! ! !

Jennifer takes over in about 10 minutes. . . That's "GO Time" for me and my own bottle!!!. . . .YeeeHawwww!!!!!!

Let's Drink!!!!. . .

Jerry :D

Good luck man, I don't know how parents do it, especially with twins! I'm not cut out for it.

Wonderful post Jerry. You are a lucky, wealthy man!
Now you will have to learn to sleep at your desk....:D

I look forward to meeting the team at blade....;)
Best wishes
Steven

I found this posted on another forum, figured you'd get a chuckle out of it...

"HE'S TIRED

An older, tired-looking dog wandered into my yard.
I could tell from his collar and well-fed belly that
he had a home and was well taken care of.
He calmly came over to me, I gave him a few pats
on his head; he then followed me into my house,
slowly walked down the hall, curled up in the
corner and fell asleep.

An hour later, he went to the door, and I let him out.

The next day he was back, greeted me in my yard,
walked inside and resumed his spot in the hall and
again slept for about an hour. This continued off
and on for several weeks.

Curious I pinned a note to his collar: 'I would like to
find out who the owner of this wonderful sweet dog
is and ask if you are aware that almost every
afternoon your dog comes to my house for a nap.'

The next day he arrived for his nap, with a different
note pinned to his collar:

'He lives in a home with 6 children, 2 under the age
of 3 - he's trying to catch up on his sleep. Can I come
with him tomorrow?"

Good luck with the Team, Bossman... Fatherhood is all about patience..which is why I'm not one! :foot: I hope that they feel better, and that you get some sleep soon.

That's why yo love them so much as they get older, you have bonded so much with them, the good times and bad, God Bless!

Hang in there Jerry! Babies don't come with instructions but sounds like your doing just fine!

Well sounds like you don't mess around Jerry two at a time. Yes they get sick occasionally but hang in there. It gets better before you know it they'll be grown up and driving.
Then they'll be throwing knives instead of the other. Life goes by fast so enjoy them Boss, their Gods gift to you and the Mrs.

Well, this post just made my rainy, Monday morning.:D

Thanks for the great post Jerry, and if you need another child I am up for adoption.;)

Someone forgot to tell Jerry to save up his sleep for about a year before they were born. :D

Sleep is over rated anyway, should be drinking instead.

Good luck Jerry :D
Then they will be teething and then crawling and then walking and talking ... the list is endless.

Mine is 8 month old and it just keeps coming. But as you say they are a blessing and they can wipe our memory of with one funny look or a laughter.

Keep grinding away

Jerry--- You just gave me a flashback!!
Kid's are tough but HOG-UP!! I got yer back. ;):D

Jerry, you just made me have a major flashback to when my trips were little like that and I think I averaged about 2-3 hours of sleep a night for months and months. The one thing I can say is it does get better, sleep wise. They will probably team up against you for the rest of their lives but that's the joy of multiples.

You can do it man, hang tough!!

My oldest is 25 and my youngest is 5, and I still remember those nights. Twins takes it to another level. That will make you a nuclear tough parent.;):D

Jerry - Enjoy the peace now... In a few more years you will be getting screamed at, told you are the worst father ever, and so on. These are the good times :-)

They are a miracle. Just fed my 7 week old and she just makes me smile. Enjoy.
