I am driving myself nuts: I am looking for an all-around hunting/camp knife that could serve as a survival knife if need be. I have a BK9 but would prefer not to carry it. I have a Helle Veidemann for a skinner but this knife should be able to serve that purpose I think. Someone on another sight said the point on the TL was too thin but it does have that Durotech steal and it is .16. Would Durotech be too brittle? Thoughts anyone?

The F1 or the Swamp Rat but with a thinner edge than stock are great choices. Really it comes down to whether you want stainless or tool steel.
I would also check out the new Fallknivens with their 3G steel.
