While I await the 440C version, my 20CV version came in. I got it from one of the internet knife sites at a reduced price private sale. This knife is another SOG winner. What a sleek, solid, beautiful design. I have big hands, and it fits well. This would be a great camp/utility knife. Reminds me of a tactical small chef knife. It would be great for meal preparation. The rather acute point would make it a good fighter, too.

do you think that steels all its built up to be?
Are any of them? I sharpened it yesterday. I have not used the knife. I can tell you two things about 20cv:

1. It is hard. Took several passes on the belt grinder with 180 grit to set the angle. Polished well with 15 micron. Finished with leather strop.

2. It will take a true razor-like edge. Scary sharp.
