I have been looking for a teardrop jack or english jack. I want one with natural handle materials and carbon steel if possible. I have seen the Marbles offerings and really like them; however, my budget has been hammered and I can't justify spending that much right now. Does anyone else make these patterns with natural handle materials?

Mate, go over to E-Bay and type in "Tear drop jack " and I'll bet
,if your patient, you will, in time, find a very nice jack at a price you
can afford.

I'd go with Ebay also. You can find a nice antique model in excellent condition for $35-50. For some reason, I really like the look of Ebony scales, and a fancy shield on a Tear Drop.

:).

I have seen several nice ones lately. I don't remember where... maybe knifecenter? I mainly just wanted to show my support for another traditional knife thread. :D Now if I could just find a quality blue handle stockman.....

Thanks for the suggestions. Like you, bob, I am rather partial to a teardrop jack with ebony scales.

Doesn't Mooremaker have some blue stockman knives?
