Some of you may remember this thread that Wildewinds started a few weeks ago.

Well, I`m flattered to say that he chose me to make his new knife. This is the drawing he sent me.

And here is where I`m at on it now. I need to shape the handles, sharpen it, give it my "3M" finish, and make the sheath. I`m liking it so far!

That looks great. I can't tell from the pic, are there thumb serrations? I really have become a fan of them with my EWOK.
 
That came out great John, awesome design Wildewinds !

Only thing I'd change would be to have the bottom of the handle just go straight across but that's just personal preference.
 
This would be a Pit version of that design....

Albeit a rough one after supping much beer, maybe a little more drop toward the blade from the bottom of the handle !!!!

Edit again to say my handle is off, there should be more arch going on in the handle !!!!!

WOW! Just got back from a short trip and came home to see this! Awesome!

I can't wait to see it in person and try that baby out.
