The tec-lock on my CQB1 sheaths have a design flaw. I have 2 CQB1`s. The bar on the lock that adjusts the sheath to fit different belt sizes just has 1 screw in the center. Every time I put it on my belt this bar moves to an angle and I have to keep making it straight again so it will go on. It seems to me that this bar should have little notches every 1/4 inch so it would lock into place.Any one else have this trouble? Other than that I love the knives and the inside the belt loop. Roger-tighten the screw and see what happens.

The beauty of the Tek-Lock IMHO, is not rapid switching from an 1.25" belt to a 1.75" belt, but the mere fact that you CAN switch back and forth.

I have found the Tek-lok to be secure and versatile. Some people dislike it, but if your wardrobe ranges from 1.25" belts to 2" belts, like mine, its a great idea.

w,
I will mention your complaint to the designers of the TekLok, Tim Wegner and Bob Terzuola, when I see them at the ShoShow next month. We only buy the sheaths and TekLoks from BladeTech, Tim's company. Maybe if they redo the injection molds that make the TekLoks, they can incorparate a change later.

I will say that Mr Lombardo seems to see the design in the light that we do. The main thing is that the TekLok will adjust, not how quickly. If you tighten the screw holding the bar, you shouldn't experience much difficulty.

Thanks for your interest, and we are glad to have you as a customer.

Will, I called bladetech and they have already addressed the problem. They sent me two new tec-loc`s that have a new adjustable bar that solves the problem. It has an extra piece of plastic molded into the bar that fits into the slot so it will slide up and down but it won`t turn to an angle. Problem solved. Thanks again for making such an excellent knife. Roger
