Been wanting one and finally broke down during Christmas and got one. As stated elsewhere, I was amazed at how slim(?) this knife was. Not sure that slim is adequate to describe it as the blade is as thick as any I've seen. Compared to a KaBar the SOG is not as large and not just length. I don't write this as a disadvantage as I love the feel of the knife and that slimness makes it easy to handle and easy to manuever. My question is about the handle. I like the way it feels since it has a center core of some kind that is hard so that you can get a firm grip on the Kraton. I was wondering abouut the tang of the blade. Is it a stick tang or is the tang like a hidden full tang?

Good question! :)

Could one of the SOG authorities or company reps please answer this question about the Tech, the 2000, and the Pentagon please?

Maybe post an image of some SOG fixed blades before the handles are installed?

There are some pics of this somewhere on the SOG forum, now how a person would go about finding them, I don't know.

It's been awhile since I saw them, seems like maybe Ron Andersen posted them, or maybe Chris at SOG........sorry, I can't remember.

Edit: Here is one of a Tiger,
