Techno 2 CQI?

Does anyone here have any concrete info on changes to the techno 2? This may not be recent news, but I only just learned (after buying one used, with the intention of getting scales for it) that there was a silent CQI change that resulted in aftermarket scales (think flytanium, RC Bladeworks) not fitting anymore. I can’t find anything about it online, even in the Spyderco forums.

Mostly I want to figure out if mine is pre- or post-cqi, before I put money down on scales.
