Please do not take this as criticism Spyderco, more like me begging:D

The Techno is a Fantastic design, so good in fact that it needs a big brother! Put a 3.25''-3.5'' blade on it and you will have a serious grail knife for a lot of us junkies. A guy can dream right?

Oh I like the size too, but if it were made a little bit bigger it would be really nice. I have other knives I can rely on to fill the gap, I am only wishing out loud on this one.

I had the techno and i felt with my hand size it was a bit small. i think a larger techno would be amazing

I'd be in...

I would be in on that. Having a bigger options is always good. Benchmade does this with some of their knives.

I'd buy a 3"/3.2" blade version even though the existing Techno has become the perfect EDC knife for me. It's just that it's so good in so many ways I couldn't resist it in a slightly larger format. I'm considering getting another one anyway in case something happens to the one I have.

I think I'd rather get a Sage 2. I have a Southard and a Techno and I like both of them, but right in between them in size is the Sage 2.

You could sign me up for a larger version of the Techno, for sure! The last thing I'd want to see is G10/CF on the non-lock side, though. It's a trend I hate, plain and simple.

if you scale it up to a 3.5-inch blade length, you'll have something that'll remind you of a wrench or a pair of pliers but with a sharp blade.

they have a proto in that blade size from the same designer, an all-ti framelock. Saw it at the Eugene show in April. It felt fantastic, my favorite knife on the Spyderco table by far, but Sal didn't seem really enthused about it for some reason. I think because of the Carpenter project they have in the works with their own design, of a similar size? Anyway I sure wish they would pursue the other Slysz design, it felt fantastic in the hand!!!!!

I would buy a larger version, I love everything about the design of the Techno except the size.

I think it would work great if the stretched it more than just scaling everything up. The blade and handle is already plenty stout :D
