hi forum, just wanted to try something different.for everyday carry what would you prefer the techno or dragonfly 2,i have a sage 2 and a zdp folage green dragonfly and was thinking of adding a techno to my carry.any thoughts on this?

If u already have the ZDP foliage green dragonfly,.... Nothing in the size range will wow you with cutting ability and portability... I say the chaparral in Ti scale with XHP will give you a bigger blade in similar cutting ability and portability but dressier. Techno is fun to use and it's robust and insanely strong.

I have both... nothing you can't tell from looking at them... I feel the techno in my pocket... the dragonfly, not at all...

The techno is just fun and cool..
Dragonfly is just functional...

I have my dragonfly today

I have the G10 dragonfly and the Techno, both are great, but the techno is far more awesome all things considered. I'll never part with either, get both!

I don't have a techno yet, but I have had my hap40 dragonfly in my pocket for weeks and now feel naked without it. It's also a backup money clip if my wallet's gets overloaded.

I have a Techno and two Dragonfly 2s. I think the DF2 is probably one of the most refined(as in CQI'd) designs that Spyderco has, but the Techno is one of the best collab designs. They're both amazing at what they do. The DF2 is a better slicer, the Techno is clearly beefier, and, for what it's worth, has a higher fidget factor. The DF2 is perfect in-hand, and that's true for most people. The Techno is a love/hate thing for many, but for me I loved it the first time I held it. I think you need to go find one in person and hold it, and decide if it works for you. If so, it's a great knife to have, and definitely is a bit more upscale than the DF2. I also have the Chaparral which someone mentioned(though it's the CF original), and it's a fantastic knife.
All in all, I think the Techno is my favorite knife that I own, but the Dragonflies are probably the best knives.
