Can anyone tell or show what the Techno would look like without the royal blue g10 spacer? What do the pillars look like? Ireally like the ergo's andoverall design but the backspacer just isn't an appealing feature for me.
Any responses would be greatly appreciated.

I knew the back spacer was going bye bye the day I ordered my Techno.
Got the knife in, handled it a bit and took it apart to install the blue titanium standoffs.
Love the knife even more with the standoffs.
It hoarded pocket time the whole weekend that just passed.

I swapped the backspacer for gnoleb bronze titanium standoffs. Looks great but I don't have pics at the moment - sorry.

Where can I purchase stand off's like those illustrated in the above attachment photo's that will fit a new techno? Again, I'm sold on the knife as long as I can easily purchase aftermarket standoff's that will look good and not sacrifice reliability or functionality and thanks to everyone for forwarding the techno pics.

I want a techno in the worst way...in fact its on my buy list for this year. I'm not a big fan of the G10 spacer myself, however, I do like the idea of a spacer. If it could have been also made of titanium, then all the better. And although the standoffs look very nice, I must confess, I think they make the techno look a little on the cheap side. I'm not saying anyone shouldn't get them...to each their own, I just wouldn't do it for mine is all. Preferences, aint they a b*&^h? :D

I do prefer some knives with standoffs but the techno isn't one of them. I absolutely love the G10 geared backspacer! It compliments the monster smooth geared jimping perfectly and just finishes the knife off! Having said that I'd prefer it black.

I can agree with that. So much so that I've got a Cuscadi black CF backspacer in mine. I didn't mind the factory blue one (actually wish we'd see that color more often), but I think it looks a bit classier and low key now.

I thought somebody on here was saying you can cut yourself through the stand-offs when the knife is closed, if you put your finger in wrong. :o

This link should show you where you can buy the standoffs. A member here sells them from what I understand.
