Hi everyone,
Thi is a WIP of my first batch of TECT-46. I will produce 40 of them.
Il wiil show you all the steps from the desing to the final sharpening without forgetting the making of leather sheath.
Comments and questions are welcome.
This knife is made for hickers, backpackers, hunter... it's not a "tactical" or a "combat" knife.
G10 and diamond wood will be available
Steel: CPM 154 at 58.5 hrc
weight: 209.37 g
The edge is 0.01 in thick
Here you can see the interior of the handle. The datum symbol show the center on gravity of the kife fully assembled with diamond wood.
I know that the screw look big on the CAD but they are smaller in reality.
A version without the thumb ramp and a 3.5 inch blade will be available
The shape of the handle has been proven on my previous knife.
So I have some G10 in the mail and the prototype will be laser cut this week.
The production knife will be water jet cut and then cnc machined.
