Ted McDowell Funny Folder?

Many years ago I remember reading about an interesting folding knife. It was unique in the manner in which it opened. It was made by Ted McDowell if I remember correctly.

Has anyone seen one of these and what would the current cost be if I could find one.

With no description of the knife, I can't say, but A. G. Russell does have a knife now he calls the Funny Folder. It's an old design he just resurrected.

A couple of years back, I saw a few wood handled models sell in the $300-400 range. I'm not if he still makes them, but they do show up on the used market sometimes.

Pat Crawford also made a model close to Dowell's, called the flim flam.

S and W also copied the style.
