Gonna take my 19 year old Son to see Sweaty Teddy tonight. Eric has never seen Ted Nugent in concert(doubtful, if he's EVER seen anyone quite like Ted in concert before!), and I just thought he should see The Nuge before Ted comes to his senses and realizes how old he really is. :D I mean, the guy is in his 50's and still rocks out like a youngster. I wonder how long before Ted stops touring?

SWEEEEEET! I saw Ted for the first time on his home turf in Detroit 3-4 yrs ago. I was totally amazed at just how good of a guitarist he is. The show absolutely rocked. Scarey audience though... the missing teeth, tatoos, hairy chests, inebriation, and camoflage clothing overwhelmed me. And that was just the women! I saw Ted again a couple yrs ago at the DuPage county fairgrounds... he kinda phoned that one in. I hope you get the Detroit Ted.... I especially like the guns and bows he waves around.

That is gonna be awesome! I know yall are going to have a blast.

WANGO TANGO!
WANG DANG.....errr almost forgot what part of the forum I was on.

Stranglehold is one of my fav's.

I went to see him in 2001 and it was an awesome concert. He was just in Baltimore this past weekend with Toby Keith. Have a good time. ;)

I saw Ted in concert in the late-70s (several times) when he was da sh*t. Not that he's not the sh*t now. :D

Saw him again, in concert, a year ago.

Time hasn't slowed or hindered Ted ! The boy can rock !

Indeed, the boy can still rock the house! He played for well over an hour and a half, and played all the good ones. Just Uncle Ted, a killer bass player and a really good drummer. They ROCKED! Now, if my lungs ever recover from all the smoke(probably 75% of the people were smoking something). As a non smoker, you KNOW the show had to be a good one, or I wouldn't have stuck around.

Along with his proper political views, the dude can flat blow your doors out.

I saw him during a "career lull" back in 1982 at the Brady Theater in Tulsa. The Brady seats about 2,000 people, but he brought his arena sound system with him, and we sat 8 rows back smack in the middle. I haven't heard properly since. He actually did a hit from the Amboy Dukes, as well, which I understand is very rare.

Ted started the show off with "Snakeskin Cowboys". Pretty sure that's an old Amboy Dukes song, isn't it?

Danbo...Snakeskin Cowboys is from his "self-titled" album, "Ted Nugent".

When I saw him, he played "Journey to the Center of the Mind", explaining that he had to call some of his old boys to get them to agree for him to play it on that tour.

Ted Nugent rocks, the man can play and sure knows how to live. Proves that the only things that you need for a good time are a guitar, some guns, and a bunch of tasty animals.

Ted usually (in my vast 2 concert experience) does Great White Buffalo, which I think is an Amboy Dukes song??? I'm having a mental block... what is the name of his past lead singer? Starts with a "D"....
