So I just had a silly idea, but I found a place to order teflon bushings for pretty cheap, and I wondered how well it would work to throw a pair on my Skyline; anyone done this?. Anyone know the size of the stock bushings on the Skyline? Just thought it would be interesting to give it a shot and see what happens.

Maybe you should consider an alternative to Teflon (PTFE), because AFAIK it is quite suspectable to creep. Which would mean if it was exposed even to moderate stress for a prolonged period of time it would cause a permanent 'set' of the bushings, resulting in eventual blade play. IIRC (automotive) bearing/joint manufacturers usually use (glass fibre) reinforced PTFE to avoid that problem (Fluro and Schaublin spring to mind).
