Teflon lubes?

Well, now that I'm working at a bike shop I've been using the shop lubricants to keep my EDC's lubed up. Almost exclusively a wet-type teflon based penetrating lube. Seems to work well, though I haven't had enough time to determine long-term value of the stuff. Has anybody gone with teflon lubricants (either wet or dry) as long term knife lube? It's probably not the greatest to keep rust at bay, but I have a feeling its pretty decent for that as well (at least is places like joints).

I use white lightning chain lube on my folders, not concerned with rust since I have never had one rust on me. A few drops and I'm good for months.

Isnt that the wax-based chain lube? I could definately see that working well on multiple levels.

i tried white lightening and didnt like the stuff, on knives, works fine on bike chains though lol.
