Does anybody know if the standard Izula sheath will accommodate a Tek-Loc device? There was an entry I came across by Snakedoc that showed something fastened to the back, but I could not make out what is was. Just curious if it will take a Tec-Loc or if I need to get a custom kydex sheath.
Thanks for any insight,
JT

Man, I am so embarrassed!......directions were right there in the packet. Note to self: pull the head OUT!
Shotgunner, thanks for the link.....photos are a big help along with being able to see how they fit for each model (I assume it will also fit on a HEST?).
Thanks again,
JT

I put the large Tek-Lok on mine,to see if it works. It worked, but prefer front pocket carry.

Same here, the Tek-Lok mounts perfectly, but it's not the best carry option for me. Oh, and don't feel embarrassed brother, it took me a while to actually look away from the knife long enough to see that there were instructions. Besides, reading is overrated. :p

Same here. It just stuck out too far for me to belt carry. It was more comfortable and less obtrusive to just stick the Izula and sheath in my front right pocket.

You guys like Tek-Loks? I'd rather use the paracord. Tech-Loks seem bulky and complicated to me.

They have their place. If i will more than once or twice a day completely remove my knife AND sheath, or reposition the sheath to another carry method, the tek lock comes in handy. I usually carry my fixed blades on the inside of my belt on my back though and paracord works fine. Anyone know if the HEST sheath will accomidate a large tek lock?

Some guys love em. I bought 2 and gave them a whirl. They're in a drawer collecting dust somewhere. I'd do up a full review but I'm not allowed to say those kind of words out loud. They almost went in the fire, but then I thought they might be useful for a quick on/off option for attaching to a pack or something. But for me, they weren't a viable option for on person carry.

Like I said, they do work for some people everyday. I'm pretty rough on stuff and I just couldn't get them to cooperate so we parted company.
