While I like the convenience the Tek-Lok provides, but I was wondering if I was somehow overlooking a superior option for belt mounted carry. What I'm looking for could easily include but is not at all limited to:
- More adaptable hardware; often eyelets are either not large enough or spaced correctly
- Rotation / adjustment options on the fly; The ability to change the orientation of the knife on the fly would be excellent

The G-Clip is pretty much a flop for me. I use it as a pocket clip more often than a belt clip. I picked up a pair of pocket clips for Kydex sheaths as well and have come to the conclusion that it was pretty much a waste of money as I have yet to find a way to usefully incorporate them into a carry setup. While there doesn't -have- to be a better option than the Tek-Lok, I'm hoping there is!*

*but also kinda not because I have 8 of them and it would be a little frustrating if I ended up making them redundant after dropping ~$90 on belt mount clips.

Search ebay: ESEE clip plate belt clip

I bent a clip from a holster so the bar on one end slipped into the nylon strap slot and pushed into the other side of the sheathe. Surprisingly, works pretty good despite the MacGuyver set up. Don't think it would have have enough of clip strength for a large sized knife. I did it with a Benchmade Snody.

I have G-clips on several of my kydex sheaths and have no problems with them. They seem to work really well for me and I like the fact that they aren't as bulky as Tek-Loks.

I use tactical tailor's malice clips sometimes, and you might take a look at the Bawidamann p.u.p.
