1. Does the tek-lok fit in the existing holes of the HEST?

2. Both vertical and horizontal?

3. If so, which size tek-lok--large or small?

4. Can you put 4 screws in or do the holes only line up on one side, allowing just 2 screws to fasten the tek-lok to the sheath?

Thanks. I'm looking for a way to carry this awesome knife on my belt without having to use the paracord (too loose for my taste) or the molle locks.

I dont have a HEST, but as with all of the other ESEE sheaths..

1. Yes.
2. Yes.
3. Large
4. One side, but that is plenty secure.

If I am wrong, someone will be along shortly.

This sheath is slightly different than all the other ESEE sheaths, that's what led to my question. Regardless of Mike's instructions, I cannot get the belt clip to line up with the holes. I don't really want to carry it IWD or clipped anyway so I'm not spending too much time with it, but it definitely is different than the others.

Anyone got a pic of the tek-lok on the hest sheath?

The measurements between the vertical holes are all that matter. A TekLoc will not reach across any of the sheath, sans maybe the Izula.

If you have 2 holes that line up with the tekloc...and they will on the HEST....you are good to go.

If you wanted the clip to work and it wont quite line up, there is always just drilling a hole or maybe elongating an existing one.
