Tek-Lok on your Sheath?

Do you guys think the Tek-Lok system is good to go? I wonder how secure it is? Do you need to use the additional locking device once it is on your belt, in order for it to be safe from unclipping?

I got a sheath with one, its the first I have had, so I want to be sure its safe. Don't wanna lose my spendy knife!
