Ok...I got an RC-4 from a fellow forumite and I am not too keen on how the Tek-Lok lines up. I know I am a little obsessive, but the clip is only held in by two Chicago screws on one side of the sheath. I can't seem to find a larger Tek-Lok and I really like the design. I like being able to clip it to my pack, belt, or wherever the hell I happen to feel like at the moment.

Has anyone found one that is slightly larger?

There are two sizes I'm aware of, large and small. Which do you have?

I would only be able to guess. It appears small as it only lines up with the holes on one side of the sheath. Or...is this a common issue?

It only bolts on one side and don't worry, its very sturdy. I've been using a RAT 3 with this configuration for a couple of years now and it is still fine.

I'm assuming vertical carry? And yes the large only lines up with two holes on one side, but it's still very strong.

Here's a good post about the Tek-Lok.

Alright, cool. I just didn't know what I thought about that set-up. If it works, I guess I'll go with it and try and suppress the OCD...

I posted this a few months back:

Two screws are all you'll get, but it's sturdy as can be in my opinion.
I don't know if the Tech Lok comes in different sizes, but I've got 3 screws and rubber washers betreen mine and the Izula sheath. My Tech Loc seems to be more square in shape than the one pictured. Bought it in the UK through Hennie Haynes. Sturdy as hell and more compact than the included Molle clip.

Thanks for making that thread shotgunner!!

It answers lot of questions I have about the Tek Lok.
