Hello all- I have seen some knives coming with the "Tek-Lok" sheath but I have never seen this mechanism up close.
Will someone please point me to where I can see the actual "Tek-Lok" part of the sheath, or snap a picture of your own.
I'm not really sure as to what this is ??
Thanks very much,Donald

Go here:

See the hinge on the back of the sheath there? That is the Tek-lock. it is kind of like a fastex buckle, in that there are 2 prongs on the side you have to press in to undo the lock. I have seen one in person, and they look rock solid. On many sheaths you can adjust the position of the lock. There usually are several holes drille din the kydex/consealex so you can rotate the lock, allowing horizontal belt carry, vertical belt carry, canted carry, etc. Very cool item.Pi cof Tek-Lock

I use the mini tek-lok on my small fixed blades. I like it better than any other belt attachement style.

Does anyone know if the holes in the sheath of the Camillus mini talon will match the min tek-lok? If all fails I will know Friday... :)

I have one on my newest Lightfoot. It's a little bulky but very solid and very, very convenient. I like it alot.

Aha- Now I got it !! This looks to be real versatile, I'm currently looking for a 3-4" fixed blade and now I'm gonna have to look into getting something with this on the sheath.
Thanks very much to everyone for the information :)
Donald.

I use the Lg. Tek-Loks on every I make except neck knives. The large will go on military pistol belts and smaller.
I wish they were around 20 years ago!!

bteel --- the small tec=lok does well on the Mini Talon and for those who are interested, also the BM 100 river knife.
