Tek Lok

How do you guys and gals wear your tek Lok on your belt.with the opening clip part up or down.thank you all very much

I think I know what you mean....

I wear mine where you have to push it DOWN on the top of the belt to snap it on. To remove it from the belt you would pull it up.

I do not wear it where you have to push it UP from the bottom of the belt to have it snap on then remove it by pulling it down.

If I am wrong need to read the directions please advise.

It depends on what it is attached to.

On a short knife or handgun, I mount the Tek-Lok with the "mouth" upward to clip over the top of the belt. It is easier to unlock/secure the clip this way, faster on/off.
On a long knife, I mount the Tek-Lok with the "mouth" down to clip underneath the belt. It is more difficult to unlock/secure, but the length of the sheath makes mounting upward more challenging.

If you mean with the tek-lok hinge on top or bottom, it should be on top.
So that when you unlock it you have to pull the sheath upwards.
If you wore it the other way you would risk the sheath with knife dropping
when you unhooked it.

Yup. This way for me as well. I don't usually use a large Tek Lok for a knife though. I use it for open carrying a hand gun though. For a knife I like the drop down clip plate for the Esee 5/6. I have several for a couple rigs.
