I make my sheaths tek-lok compatible, here are some examples of carry positions with a kiridashi.
There are other options for carry as well, my favorite is pocket carry with a static rig for convenience. Just tie the end of the sheath to your belt or loop with some cord and when you pull your knife the sheath automatically pops off and hangs for later re-sheathing. There are obvious self defense uses with this rig but I get a lot of use out of one in the shop or when I am building something... anytime I need to get my knife out with one hand.
Traditional carry
They stay locked in place nicely.
Angled carry
Upside down and angled, works great on a vest.
Sideways
On most sheaths where necker carry will work I include a couple of chamfered holes so they hang nicely
