Any of you old-timers (like me) still have one of these? This is a stubby little light that Tekna used to make that runs off a single 2.5v lithium battery. I need to find out what kind of battery it requires. My Mono-Lith was lost for a few years. I just found it, but it doesn't have the battery. I like the light - I even have spare bulbs - just need a new battery.

The bulb says "Tekna FB1 bulb, 2.5 volt - for use in Tekna Mono-Lith, Micro-Lite or Lite-2 and other Tekna flashlights requiring a FB1 focusing beam bulb"

It looks like the battery would be about 9/16" - 11/16" in diameter and about 1.10" to 1.45" long.

Any old Tekna owners, or battery experts, that can help?.

Thanks,

Hope this helps -

I have an old Tekna Splash-Light. It must be over 10 years old and still has the original Tekna Power Cell. It's just a standard DL123A lithium 3V battery that is available in any drug or camera store. It's the same battery used in Surefires.

Good luck.

I have a micro lite and it takes two 1.5vt N cells.Would you be willing to part with a couple bulbs?

Dan,

Thanks for the idea on the DL123A. However, I wonder if that is the correct battery. Doesn't seem right that a 2.5V bulb would use a 3v battery? (Or maybe that is correct - I'm no flashlight expert.)

Rycen,

I only have the bulb that is in my light and one extra. However, if I can't get a battery I will let you know - then you can have my spare bulb.

Pete,

Looks like I may have to go to candlepowerforums. I have just been too lazy to register.

Thanks,
