Hey, did you guys order your blindhorse October specials. I post this on here because Esee knifes are friends of the bhks. I have never owned one so tell me your experience if you have. I don't think the "brumby" will beat the RC-3! My assumptions are pretty right on. I know i am a kiss A**.:)

i had to laugh when i read the page for the october special, "The Brumby"

they say "it's all about choice" unless you want the bead blasted scales on something other than a scandi ground version, then you're SOL.

i've got one of their early bushcrafters with the tigerstripe maple scales and blued blade. nice knife. took me a while to find one on the exchange. didn't really want the micarta version.

but overall they seem like decent knives and the prices are reasonable. i have no clue if the ESEE crew and the folks from BHK are buddy-buddy or not, but it wouldn't surprise me.

I have a "Long Trail" and have been very happy with it. It's a little bigger than the Izula in both blade lenth and handle length.

I have one of their smaller knives. It's very unusual because it's got a scandi grind. I've never seen a knife this small with a scandi grind before.
