Tell Me About Bob Irons...

I saw a couple of references in GB&U about Bob passing away. I am out of the loop. Can anyone tell me more, here or by email.

Bob was one of the first guys I met here. Nice guy, always polite, respectful and considerate his posts. I know he loved knives and would have indulged in more but for taking of his kids. His priority was in the right place.

Saddens me to know he passed on...

Bob was one of the first few guys to have greeted me when I first logged onto BFC. He was soft-spoken, loves to joke a lot, and a very friendly guy.

It still saddens me whenever I think that he's no longer around. Though I'm sure he's in a better place already.

Thanks for the link. I was away that week. No wonder I didn't hear. Nevertheless, I was beginning to wonder why I haven't run across a Bob Irons' post.

Indeed, that Bob is missed conveys a sense of the person he was to many of us in this forum.

I too miss him.
