Really dig the looks of them and i watched a youtube vid of a young kid that loved his...

Whatcha think WS+S?? Good knives...pros/cons?

Anything scandi is good :)
I would highly recommend the Kauhavan Puukko from www.brisa.fi - it's relatively cheap and after removing the small micro bevel it's one hell of a nice bushcrafter !

https://www.brisa.fi/portal/index.p...od=product_info&cPath=92_132&products_id=1047 - that's the one - it's out of stock right now,but they should have more soon  It costs around $80 :)

I hear ya considering anything scandi is good! and i am on the hunt for some more scandis at the moment! thanks for the link man!

Looks just like a wood jewel as well!

Yeah it looks a lot like a wood jewel. But I think that wood jewel's blades are just plain Lauri blades ? They're very good IMO.
The Kauhavas have Lauri blades too,but the hardening is done by the maker himself - Matti Koski - I think they're a bit harded than the regular Lauri blades.

Gotcha!

sounds cool man!

I have a Kellam Wolverine, it's an excellent blade. One caveat- I got mine wet, and the wood handle swelled enough to bend the brass bolster, and now there's a small gap. Doesn't effect the performance at all, but still slightly annoying.

Dude you should get one of Jukka Hankala's kives - they're awsome, custom, handforged scandis. The waiting time is usually around 6-7 months, but it's worth it !Prices aren't cheap, but you don't have to pay untill your knife is ready ;)
