I find the Aviator to be an awsome little knife. I have not carried mine as I carry the shadow III usually. It has the same sheath as the shadow III and the same 4" blade length. I always prefer the spear point, but the Aviator has a nice small clip point. The saw teeth I always felt on crk's should be wider, but thats just me. Chris designed them to work on most materials and not just excel at one. You get a nice little hollow handle to boot as well. Picture this as a shrunk down Jereboam I or Mark IV. I think it has everything you would want in a small survival style knife. You get a nice sheath, hollow handle, saw back, clip point. What more could you want in a small survival knife. Plus the most important thing, you get CRK Legendary Design and Customer Service. You will not be dissappointed. Hurry and get one before they are gone !!!

I still see them around quite a bit, wait until 2-3 years from now, then it will be even tougher.

Its strange when I first got mine I thought..."It needs to be bigger." However, upon using it I never thought that way again. I also love the sheath ...rides high and out of the way.

I had one and sold it. I felt the handle was too small....and I have small hands.

i just did the same....nice knife, just not "for me";)
i could have adapted to blade/handle length...but, the round handle....just not for me personally
