I've been thinking of tracking these 2 knives down and buying atleast 1 if not both if I get a good deal but I don't know a lot about them especially the wardog and how thick it is and blade length I seem to have found conflicting info on this. I'd also like to know how hard they both are to come by and what your personal opinions are of these knives. Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks all.

My Wardog is .23 thick, 4 7/8" long. Full flat grind.
You may also want to consider Scrap yard scrapper 4 or 5, they have an Infi run, and are thinner at the spine.

I have looked as the sykco's but I like them fatties....lol...I just need to find them both , I think I found a basic 4 mag but no luck on a wardog yet. I wouldn't mind having the syko's too though.

Best Res-C Handles made.

I like the Basic 4 configuration better (more belly). Some like the WarDog. Since my all time favorite remains the SS4, the WarDog couldn't compete for me and got sold off. The Basic 4 is a great user.

Disclaimer: I have the anorexic model....big enough for my meager tasks.

Where in Virginia are you? I've got both, if you'd like to see them in person.

I have both. In black and tan handles. War dog is my favorite knife od all times. I have other small Busse knives but my war dog goes with me in every outings. B4 balances really nice. The moment people get to hold the BS mag, it is instant wow moment. It does have thicker belly than WD. I havent used it yet but it looks like she's going to be my camp knife

Like Izhmash said the best res-c handle for sure. Both knives have been out awhile and sometimes none are on the exchange then there are plenty to pick from. I have bought both several times but neither has stayed around. I thought the wardog was to thick and I didn't like the talon hole on the b4. A similar knife I prefer is the scrapyard 311. Carries better and the handle allows for a full grip.

I love the wardog. it is still one of my favorite woods knives. It is a tad thicker than needed but not enough to bother me. However Busse put out several Hack wardogs that were limited runs and are slightly thinner but I haven't been able to score one. (pay attention there is 2 different hack models and one is shorter. I had it and missed the extra length so sold it off.)

I also love the B4. I think I have the anorexic version and it's great. handles are awesome and the blade shape is great for game processing but has a bit more belly than I prefer in my woods blades. I have mine set up in a great sheath and it's definitely a favorite of mine.

However look into the new S.O.B.'s because they are freaking awesome. I know not what you asked about but I have a feeling that my S.O.B. is going to replace the wardog for woods bumming. They are slightly more money but worth it imo right now.

Well in stead of grabbing a mag that's on the exchange on fri 13th I grabbed a black rifle!!!! A really nice Rock River Arms turned up at my dealer and I basiclly stole it from him....so I'm just gonna wait a month and see what I can grab. Still gonna get both.
