Tell me about the Freeman 451 flipper

It's absolutely fantastic, mechanically. I'm not super fond of the way it looks but it is such a good knife otherwise that I carry it all the time.
Haven't heard any negativity at all.
Really cool knife.

All of you shut up. I don’t own one yet!!! It’s a terrible knife that no one should try until I have one. Give me until X-mas at least !!!!

Really like mine, though I never carry it. The button lock + flipper on bearings is SUPER FUN. I keep telling myself to sell it because I never carry it, but every time I go to take pictures of it I decide not to sell it.

I had to send one of mine in for warranty work, the customer service is top notch. I delt directly with Jeff Freeman, who seems to be a no non sense kind of guy who stands behind his product 100%.

I have the D2 blade version with the blue inlays and I think it's a really great knife.

It's very light, well built, and the action is as good as I've experienced. I really like the flipper design and they nailed the button lock.

It's kind of a "basic" design compared to my Olamic, Hinderer, or Brouse but I view the Freeman as being brilliant in its simplicity.

It's basically a super well made frame and blade - no scales (inlays instead), liner/frame lock, fancy spacers, or assisted opening

The Freeman is one of my all-time favorites. I would use it more often if the blade and overall length were just a bit shorter. The size is great for carrying outdoors but it's just a bit too large for my EDC tastes.

If you order your knife frame the Freeman Outdoors website you can choose blade steel (there were two options when I ordered mine) and pick out the colors you like best.

As others have said, Jeff Freeman is also a really cool guy and it felt good supporting him and his company.

Good value too.

Little too large as an EDC for me. D2 is cool though. I like the "mini" versions of knife offerings and this doesn't come in one.
Awesome knife though from vids I've seen.
