Tell me about the WEN Wet Wheel 2901

I just bought a WEN Wet Wheel. It says it does hollow grind. Anybody have one?

Look like it designed for wood working tools. So may not be ideal for knives because the wheel looks too wide and radius too small.

Mine says "knife" on it. It's a little different than that one.

Do the knife instructions in the pdf not apply? Very interesting machine. Reminds me of the Tormek and similar systems. Did you get it new?

I'm interested in a report on how it does, and where you got it.

The hardware store on my mail route is going out of business. He had it downstairs. It's like new- but no instructions. It doesn't grind like you'd think.

Well it sounds kinda awesome. Worst case scenario, you could sell it to a woodworker and get something that's more suitable for your needs.

I inherited a Wen Wet Wheel. It did nothing, checked it and switch was bad. I emailed Wen and got a new one, perfect fit and wheel and sponge. I use it, like it. Never shocked me, I leave it plugged in when running water in it. If I find a manual, I will let you know. I was going to Wen on web to see if they have different coarsenesses of wheels. CUL
