Not a bunch of info I can find on this setup. My grandpa gave it to me a while ago. I just move and found it again while unpacking. Markings on one say "HUBEO" the other "HUGO BERNS Germany". Thanks for your time and knowledge.

It's a tool kit knife. The kit included a few extra blades and a leather sheath. Here's another Hugo Berns Tool Kit with a plier knife for a handle.

Interesting. I wonder what all came with this specific one. I'd like to know the proper way to install/swap the different blades. Thanks for your time.

I think it just presses straight into the handle. According to Levine's Guide, the highest quality tool kits had detachable knives (others had a slipjoint knife permanently installed in the handle) and the same attachment mechanism as your knife.

I don't know much about the brand. IIRC, it's not listed in Levine's Guide or Goins Encyclopedia but I don't remember for sure. I've seen a 1906 patent (unrelated to this knife) so the company is quite old. I've seen 1950s ads for some of their tool kit knives. I suspect that mine is from 50s. Yours may be older.

Maybe the slip joint(not sure if that is the correct term) is bound up. I'll take some more pictures.
