Today I received a gift from my good friend that left me without words. I am pretty new to knife collecting and only have a few kershaws and dosen of spyderco's, and didn't care for other brands. The friend didn't want to tell me anything about the knife he just handed me a strange green trashed box, laughed and went away. I tought it was some kind of joke, but i opened the knife carefully wrapped in cloth and bubble wrap, and I saw CPM-S30V USA (0o), I said to my self this must be the real deal... I was so happy that I almost got a heart attack.

Anyways I'm home now here are some cellphone pictures of the knife (I will take detail pictures when my cousin returns me my DSLR):

The knife is Lonewolf Harsey T2 Ranger Camo, and it is supposedly a knife of the year 2004
(wiki: 2004 Field and Stream Magazine "Best of the Best" Award [9] (“Harsey Tactical Ranger Folder”, designed by Harsey and manufactured by Lone Wolf Knives))

I was unable to find detail information about this blade, i weighted it at 4.25 oz so liners must be titanium or something similar at this size, handle is something like FRN but realy sturdy and hard, with very nice camo finish. Blade is coated black and it has really nice finnish, the opening action is superultramegauber smooooooth. The knife doesn't seem to be used, and I literary cut myself testing sharpness as edge looked "not sharp" :)

So can anybody tell me more about this knife, point me to some review, and how much is it worth?

Thank you in advance

You don't have a paid membership so you can't ask for the value. Not that hard to do some research on google.

I HATE YOU TINKY! lol:) So you were given this by a friend that was acting strange and gave you this hellva gift. I'd call him and make sure he isn't planning on commiting suicide. Not a joke. That's the only reason i would get rid of a knife like this. You're a lucky SOB. :DLet me know if you ever plan on getting rid of it.:) You can't ask prices of knives though unless gold member . I've never seen this exact model either. Are you from the USA?

Search on this Forum for: Lone Wolf Harsey T2 Ranger or Hunter........... There was a thread back in 2006 that might give you all the info you need......

So wait, a dozen Spydercos is a "new to knife collecting" collection? What?! LOL

Also, a knife this rare just got given to you by a friend? Hell, a guy who gave ME a Lone Wolf Harsey would be my friggin' BEST friend! LOL

I am from Croatia, my friend Is long time Knife collector (he works as a teacher at the special police academy) he has vast collection of knifes, and this is his funny way of showing me that I don't have a clue about the knifes. He probably gave this knife to my so I can learn about it and to open my mind to different knifes, he is a very close friend, I'm sure he knows what he has given away, because he emotionally destroyed me today :)

lol:D I'm pretty happy with a LW Longhorn g10 i just got for a good price but think i'd be happier with this Harsey. Good luck not selling your Spyderco's to fund for more LW's.:)

I'm sorry I asked about the value, I'm new to forum and i didn't know about that restriction, it was just informative, I'm not looking to sell. I CAN'T SELL A GIFT, what kind of person would that make me...

Exactly. Welcome to the Board, brother.

Yes it does, here is picture:

You weren't asking for price or what the model was at all were ya?:) You were just showing this beauty off and rubbing it in our faces, huh?:p Lucky lucky devil you are.:) Oozzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzingggggggg jealously right now. Lucky lucky lucky. If you get a basic membership i'd gladly trade ya for a Delica or even a Para 2 or a couple of kershaws for it. It would still be a win win since you got it for free. What do you say?;) The Longhorn i just got was also NIB and severly needed oil. After applied could not believe how smooth the deployment is. Blade drops with gravity while disengaging lock just as smooth or smoother than any other knife i have or had.

So this must be some baddas knife, up until now I considered my spyderco manix 2 G10 FFG top of my world. I EDC my manix and I love it, but this has tha wow feeling from the moment I saw it....

Are lonewolf's that rare now?

I love the T2's. But picked up a D2 several years ago and LOVE it. Lucky to live in a state that allows autos though.
