I know the micarta gets darker as carried from wear and dirt and oils, but curious what are the changing characteristics of the wood inlays. Do they darken, get dull from the varnish wearing off, scratch easy, etc? For those who have actually carried some a bit and like them what has been your experience? Any advantage over micarta aside from being prettier maybe.
For weeks I have been saying my next 21 would be a graphic but nothing out now speaks enough to me to pull the trigger. So, I started looking at wood and I must say some are stunning. The box elder have left me speechless with its ability to practically glow. But concerned about it not holding up and if it does not can CRK refresh it on a spa visit?
