There's not a whole lot of net info, nor even pics I could find on this. Just one link showcasing this knife. Can't anyone tell me the steel, and what the retail would've been on this knife?

According to a fella on Worthpoint, it was made between 1973 and 1981. He says it was 440C blade steel.

This sounds about right to me. Gerber is known to have used 440C in that time period.

I don't recall the MSRP, but I paid about $30 for one in 1975. Fair chunk of change when you're making $2.00 an hour. That secondary blade is quite thin, although the main is pretty stout. I still don't remember what happened to that knife, although I still have the replacement I bought many years later.
