I got a GEC Pony jack a month ago. It has the amber jigged bone handles and quicklime became my favorite knife. The main blade is the spear/drop blade and the knife is just about perfect. I really like the shape and size. the liner separating the blades is great and adds just the right width to the knife. The only thing that I would prefer if a half stop. Call me weird but I like them. So....is there a knife out there preferable by GEC that is all that and a half stop?

Thanks

GEC #15 Boys Knife? Its probably the closest although the #68 is equal ended and the #15 swells a little bit towards the end cap. Other choices may be the #85 Bullet End Jack and the #92 Eureka Jack.

Thanks. Those are good knives. I have them. I just like the straight lines of the pony. Well the equal ends...

GEC has only made a few equal end knives. The only other one that is equal ended and straight would be the #54 but those are 4 1/8" closed. They have clip or spear main with either a punch or another full blade as the secondary. Below is a thread with GECs and if they have half stops and pics of the #54s if you can still find them (a few still out there with punch). I have one with a punch and iirc, the punch blade stock is thinner than the main blade like the other jacks. I believe the big jack's both blades are full thickness.
