I almost traded my William Henry B12 TBPB #69 of 500. I was planing on trading for some cheaper things and selling them for some cash. I posted it this after noon and just withdrew it. I just can't part with it. I have had other high end knives but Nothing like this. And worst of all after looking at it and drooling over it I am thinking about actually using it. Tell me I am crazy.

You're crazy.

Not because of what you did, just because you asked ;)

It's a great knife, if you like it so much don't let go and if you want to use it, go for it.

never let go of it! William Henry's are what caused me to become obsessed with knives, if I was a proud owner i would never let go of it

That's why you're crazy. A knife like that, and you're seriously thinking of not using it?

Times may be harsh, but I won't be selling any of my expensive knives. It just seems...crazy.

Keep it! Use it!

I've never sold any knife, even the ones I never use, dislike, and even question why I ever got it at all!

CAUSE THEIR ALL MINE

You are not crazy for pulling it out of auction. And you are not crazy for using it. You will enjoy it so much more by using it than just looking at it. Just do it!

I can't post pics because I just a basic user. But I will be a paying member soon, your right not being a paying member is crazy for as much as I use this forum. I wonder what that blade coating will look like after use.

I've been in a similar situation with an old Colt, but fortunately didn't sell it. I thought, "Once it's gone, and the money is gone, I'll never be able to get another like it."

I think you made the right choice.

My four year old son said it best,

Me: "Ian Should we sell this one?"

Ian: "Why daddy?"

Me: "Um.... well.... Yeah... to........ a.... buy ...another one :o."

Ian: "Do you like it?"

Me: "Yeah."

Ian: "Well daddy don't sell it if you like it."

Kid sure is smart, it's really that easy... us knuts are so deep in the woods we can't see the trees! Smart move on your part
