I have had Large Sebenzas in the past. I had to sell them because of things that came up. I finally came up with enough money to purchase a small seb. , I carried it a little while and sold it, then I bought a large Sebenza21 from a good member on this forum. I got it today, and after having the small sebenza the large now feels like a huge knife. Tell me what you think, I might have to trade this one for a small micarta or something.

Well first off what will the knife be used for? Work environment?
I have 2 smalls and 3 larges. I hope to get a large micarta soon to pair with my small micarta.
I use to be a die hard small sebbie carrier because I thought the large was just too much. One day said that I need to give the large a try for about 2 weeks and see how I like carrying it. Well now I primarily carry the large.
My occupation is I'm a business owner(restaurant). I am in meetings often and I do not feel like Rambo or anything like that.

I had a large for years. Then, I sold it and got a small. To be honest, I don't know how in the hell I carried the large around. In retrospect, it was HUGE. The small is all I need. In fact, I can get by with my Mnandi and my small seems a bit too big sometimes! YMMV.

I have carried both, and the Small Seb is all the knife I need 99% of the time. I typically carry the Large (in addition to the Small, that is) when I'm headed into the woods (or into Detroit!).

As an aside, I have added an Izula neck knife to the EDC mix, so the Small Seb has become my "big" knife (when compared to the Izula, that is).

What in the hell does YMMV mean? I have asked this question on a few different occasions to a few different people and I never get a response.

I work at Costco, I am in maintenance. I use a knife very often, and felt the small was sufficient. now that I have the bigger one, my fear is scarring the customers.

Try google? It takes like 3 seconds instead of waiting for someone to reply on a message board.

Your Mileage May Vary

I carried a Large BG42 Sebenza for several years. Actually two and bought a Small Classic Sebenza and had it reground by Tom Krein. Wow! What a cutter it became after Tom worked his magic. I do not carry the Large anymore. In fact I sent the two Large to CRK to be reconditioned and gave one to my son now that he is grown and can appreaciate it. BTW, once CRK worked it's magic they looked brand new. I also bought a Small Insingo and this is my favorite of the Sebenzas I own. The Insingo cuts nearly as good as my Small reground Sebenza by Tom. The small handles anything I need. I also have a Snakewood mnandi and find it does a great job and carries very well in my shirt pocket clipped like a pen.
