Temp Waki Sheath

I got my Waki on Thursday and finally had the chance to unwrap it yesterday. It is freaking COOL! I took it to my loaded CrO strop..oh man:thumbup:

For those that have a Waki but don't have a sheath yet, I've found a cheap alternative to transporting from point A to B with the paper sheath. I'm sure people would freak if they saw someone walking around with a sword. I went to Walmart and purchased a Pool stick holder for around 6$. This will have to hold me over till I purchased a kydex sheath....

I found 2 scraps of kydex and an assortment of leftover rivets and came up with the Frankenstein sheath here, and not, the paracord isn't holding it together, just extra for emergencies.....I have a 24" piece of kydex ordered so that I can make a prettier one

I just got in a red/black on Gray today that I'm scared to sheath for fear of Kydex rubs, just too durn purdy....smoothing due to zombie skulls is one thing, smoothing due to pointless in and out of the sheath is another thing! I had been afraind the red might be Fire Engine red, but this burgundy kinda color is beautiful!

I ordered my last one today, a black micarta on black blade....I swear that's all I need! I think.....


This red/black G10 model will hide in the corner with the black Micarta 'till the zombies arrive...I'll be practicing with the tan/sage in the meantime....may have to break out the Blac Mic. for practicing with 2 at once....I'm crossing my fingers that won't result in removed or shortened appendages. No naked practicing will have to be my motto!
